NFTA DL&W Light Rail Station
Buffalo, NY
TCT provided cost estimating services for the modernization and repurposing of the DL&W Light Rail Station for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) in Buffalo, New York. The DL&W station was originally built in 1917, and its renovation was the first extension of Buffalo’s light rail system since its opening in 1985.
TCT reviewed the existing cost estimate and developed the 50% Design Submittal cost estimate as well as an updated cost estimate for the 95% Design Submittal. In addition, TCT provided quantity takeoff calculations to support the estimates.
